Understanding and Implementing Projects using USAID Procurement Procedures
This detailed five (5) day course is designed to enhance capacity and understanding in the areas of the Procurement s Contracts of USAID i.e. Services, Supplies and Works. The course will clarify the roles of the various actors in the procurement process such as the Line Ministries, USAID Country Officers, NGOs and Technical Assistants. An important aspect of the course will be a step by step approach to preparing and evaluating a tender dossier as well as managing a contract using USAID financial and contractual procedures

Pre-requisites
This course is designed for people with little or no experience with USAID procurement procedures; however given its intensive and comprehensive approach, it will be useful for participants to familiarize themselves with basic procurement concepts and terminology prior to attending the course.
