Pascal Delorme
Pascal Delorme is a French national. He is a statistician with over 25 years of professional experience in the application of statistics to the agricultural sector. He brings to the idilmat Capacity Development Network vast experience with sector strategy and management, rural development, food security, and decentralization process applied in the developing country context.
He has applied statistical models with great effect to policy making as well as to evaluation. His experience spans across a wide variety of sectors including health, education and rural development. His experience also encompasses Capacity Development and institutional building.
Pascal has developed and delivered a number of professional development workshops in the area of statistics applied to public policy and the development of sector strategy.
Pascal has lectured at the University of Ouagadougou and currently works as an independent consultant supporting the European Statistics Office, Eurostat. His country experience is extensive across Africa and includes Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinee Bissao, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Chad, Madagascar, Djibouti and Morocco.
Mr. Delorme holds a BSc from ISTOM, France, an institute specialised in Development Economics and Rural Development.
