Dwight Alan Smith is from the US and brings to Idilmat his qualities as a seasoned and versatile leader with more than 30 years of domestic and international experience managing for results, resolving problems and conflicts and motivating staff to excel. He has extensive experience working in East and Central Africa, most recently as the Assistant Mission Director and Chief of the Program Development and Analysis Office, USAID/Kenya, Nairobi, Kenya. His particular interests are the design and implementation of agricultural, economic growth and crisis prevention/response programs.
