Daisy Saunders
Daisy Saunders brings to the idilmat Capacity Development Network over 20 years of experience in management and leadership. She owned and operated a small business that provided organizational development, training and staff augmentation services to Federal, state, and local government agencies in the US. Furthermore, Miss Saunders has over 30 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering leadership, management, and professional development workshops and seminars. She also designed and conducted organizational development (OD studies), surveys and needs assessments.
As a consultant, Daisy Saunders has worked with government agencies, corporations, and entrepreneurial firms. Her strengths include: organizational development analysis and interventions, training, strategic planning, designing surveys and needs assessments. She has expert knowledge on organizational development, adult education and instructional methodologies.
Ms. Saunders has received numerous awards during her career, among which are the NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center Customer Service Excellence Award for providing superior training and support services to the Goddard Visitor Center/Educational Resource Center and the U. S. Department of Transportation Commandant’s 1997 Outstanding Women-Owned Business Enterprise Award for providing career counseling, career-related workshops and seminars and staff augmentation services to U.S. Coast Guard. Several of her articles on leadership and employee retention have appeared in numerous trade publications and on-line web sites. She has also published a book on personal empowerment.
Daisy Saunders holds a Bachelor of Arts in General Business (Finance) and a Master of Business Administration from the Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. Additionally, she holds two certificates in Executive Leadership from Dartmouth and Clark College.
