Clarence Henry

Ambassador Clarence Henry, PhD. is from Antigua and Barbuda and brings to the idilmat Advisory Board his extensive international experience in International and Comparative Politics. Dr. Henry is a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda and currently serves as his country’s ambassador to CARICOM and the Non Resident Permanent Representative of Antigua and Barbuda to the European Development Fund. He has a deep understanding of the Caribbean and provides guidance to idilmat on the issues of public administration, governance and the political economy. He has been very successful in his negotiations with Development Partners on the allocation of assistance to Antigua and Barbuda to enhance capacity building and infrastructural development.
His responsibility on the idilmat Advisory Board includes the review and scrutiny of idilmat´s products and services in the area of public administration, trade relations and governance.
He obtained his Masters and PhD degrees in International Studies from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, his undergraduate degree from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica.
